Shan WANG 王杉

I am currently an Associate Professor of Management Science at the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University. My official web page is here. I graduated with a PhD from Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in June 2019. My advisors are Professor Guohua Wan from SJTU and Professor Nan Liu from Carroll School of Management, Boston College.

My research interests include healthcare operations management and data-driven optimization. My current research focuses on the design and control of service systems, with capacity constraints and complex customer behaviors. One particular application area of her research is healthcare, in which I address questions of how to deliver health services in a more timely, effective, and efficient way. I draw methodological tools from stochastic modeling, optimization, and statistical leanrning.

我的研究领域是医疗运营管理和数据驱动优化，目前的研究侧重点是带有容量约束和复杂顾客行为的服务系统设计与控制，重点关注医疗保健这一特殊应用领域，并以如何及时、有效和高效地提供医疗服务作为研究目标。 我的研究方法和研究工具包括随机建模、优化与统计学习。
